1.Community Service : Farming at Tanah Mas

Today, 1st of July, I went to Community service- Farming at Bidor, Tanah Mas !

Wake up at 6am and start our journey at 7am. 

Tanah Mas is somewhere after Tapah. It is a agriculture based village.

We met up the head of village and have a quick briefing on the activities.

First of all, we going to pluck Reselle, the more familiar name is Ribena which we usually drink it.

We need to use scissors cut the ripe flowers and put inside a guni sack.

We worked in a group and started our hard work.

Actually there are three types of Rosella, but in this village they just got two types only.

This is the first type : Red in colour one

Second type : purple in colour, the petal is bigger and longer

Another type is green in colour which don't have here.

After that, we went to carrot farm to plant the white carrot. In between, while waiting for the farm to be prepared, we had our break. 

At carrot farm, actually the site is prepared. We just need to put in 3-4 seeds in a hole and close it up with some soil. 

It very easy! however, the weather is hot already, so we all wearing our cap as well.

I think many of us didn't see a carrot seeds before, perhaps some people may ask: "Carrot? Carrot got seeds one MER!?" Hahaha

About 4 hours, we ended both farming activities. We got a surprise! That is the head of village threat us with lunch!!! All people was happy and excited with it!!
He really very generous! Four round tables with 3 plates of vege, 1 fish, 2 porks, 1 egg and 1 tou fu for each table !!!
Waaa~ i ate with family also don't have so many dishes... Really thanks to him !!
He got three children, one daughter and two sons. They are friendly and funny. haha

After lunch, we thanked the head of villager,really thanks him!
We back to Kampar full of satisfactions!

Oh ya! 

we have our free gift also! Two guava each people~

It is sweets~

Today, we planned to do community service but we gain from the community instead of giving.. lol
