Study Master?

Things that I have to consider when I make up my mind to continue my studies (postgraduate).

Before I start to blog about this, I would like introduce you guys regarding my current situation as intern. There I got the inspiration from. Now, I having my internship for three months until the end of 2013 as lab assistant at INBIOSIS, UKM.

I already half way of it already. Basically, I did assist master students there to carry their jobs. For examples, prepare media, sub culture, DNA/RNA extraction, do FT-IR analysis, seed sow, embryo culture and much more. Quite many experiences gain there. There are a lot more to come!

Throughout the intern, I have a chance to got along with master students. I learn and get inspired from them. Here come my inspirations.

1. Passion
When you going to pursue for higher education, you need to do what you like to do. It is no more forcing neither from parents or peers. If you ever do a thing with passion, you will success. Specially in research, you have to repeat hundred of times in order to get your result right. I experienced this, really.

2. Confident
Confident comes from experience. You need to boost up our confident before you start anything include further studies. What I going to do is keep on reading and gain knowledge either from books or experience. This will help me to increase my confident. Same to you.

3. Systematic
Postgrade really needs this. As we are going to finish our module by our own planning. Although we will have a "supervisor", don't take everything for granted. We still need to finish all of the experiment ourselves. Systematic as in from planning of experiment, handling the experiment to finish it on time. All of this need to be plan ahead. Thus, be systematic!

4. ASK
Be frankly, I am a quiet person sometimes. Many things I do keep inside. No surprise, If I have question in my mind, I uhhhh* don't feel like want to ask. If you ask, you won't die right. The worst thing that would happens is "No"! Next time, practice this in your mind. Anything just ask!

5. Courage
I don't know why I am kind of person that scared here and there. I am fear of mistake that I going to make. WTF!? I don't even made that, but my mind think that I did that. This going to ruin me and hart me from moving forward. huhh* It's time to update my cpu data already. I should change this before I got any trouble.

Upon one year or even more, I want to achieve above five criterions before I think of studying postgrade.
